TMI Strategy
Strategy Consultancy | New York City
TMI Strategy, the strategy arm for DoSomething.org, knew they needed a new look. Their branding was fun and bright, but relied heavily on generic stock imagery. They wanted a look "less Saved By The Bell," and more ownable and unique.
DoSomething.org is the US's largest organization for social change volunteers and community service, with over 5.5 Million members. TMI Strategy uses the considerable power of DoSomething.org's data and insights to help young people do even more good.
Inspired by TMI Strategy's mission and passion for social change, I set out to create a striking, energetic look that would help them tell their story - they are experts in what engages and excites Millennials and other young people.
I presented them with illustration styleboards, and we arrived at a blend of illustration, pattern, and photography. Using the new style, I worked with them to illustrate their Brand Principles, and ultimately to redesign their website, presentation deck, and other collateral.
This work was conceived and executed by me in my capacity as Art Director at Zaptivity.

“There’s good design and there’s thoughtful, strategic, and unique design – Laura and Zaptivity most certainly gave us the latter. She so beautifully captured the vibe of our agency while making us look smart and interesting and fun! Beyond just creating a website, she created a fresh and unique photography and illustration style for our brand.
We’ve seen a 32% increase in website traffic and consistently get comments about how “cool” our brand image is. We couldn’t be happier!!!!
If you’re looking for a smart, flexible, brand agency who really understands how to translate your unique culture and value into an ownable visual expression, look no further than Laura and her team at Zaptivity! ”
